Californiaman Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I'm looking for a good reverb pedal for my Gibson Goldtone Les Paul Jr. Amp. It's a 5-watt GA-5 and I like reverb. I checked out TC-Electronics recently are there any others you would recommend? Any suggestions?
RichCI Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Never tried it, but the Lee Jackson Mr. Springgy is getting a bit of a buzz lately. Sound clip demo is a bit annoyingly long winded but gives you a good idea of what it's about. http://www.leejackson.com/MrSpringgy_pedal.html
Californiaman Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 Rich, that's a good sounding pedal. I can see why it's getting a bit of notice. Comparing it with the Fender Deluxe was a good marketing idea too.
Riffster Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 The Marshall Reflector will give you a bunch of options, maybe not a boutique pedal but for the price it seems a good deal.
elantric Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I like the Line6 Verbzilla but nothing beats a 1963 Fender Tube Reverb unit for surf.
deepblue Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I like the Line6 Verbzilla +1 Thats what I use. Many choices, and nice sounding as well.
rybass Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 EHX holy grail is outstanding for the cash. Downside is you have to use the power supply that comes with it.

Thundergod Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 What about the Holy Grail? (EDIT: I see you already mentioned it... its a nice pedal... lots of room)

jefleppard Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 +1 on holy grail. closest to fender spring sound.
