Fatstrat
15 years old is young Darn young to be that talented. Can anyone think of any other guitarist that made the big time by age 15?
Marshall Paul
Brian Robinson of Thin Lizzy. I think, from memeory, he was only 16 when he was asked to join. Peter Frampton, Pete Townshend, Jimmy Page, Ian Moss, the Brewster Brothers, all young when they made their chops. Love Paul Kossoff's work, he really was one of the greats. Another gone too young. surfpup
So many people know 30 Days in the Hole and no other Humble Pie songs. Pity really. It's a fun tune, but - and no disrespect to Clem Clemson - they were so much better with both Marriot and Frampton in the band. Love the way the 3 singers work together in this nifty little number... Marshall Paul
Marriott had one of the best voices in rock ever. And fun to see Pete using 3 pups even back then. In his DNA! lol
4Hayden
Black Nepalese, it's got you weak in your knees. Love me some Pie with and without PF. Four Day Creep, Stone Cold Fever and I Don't Need No Doctor from Performance are amazing. It took me a while to get used to Marriott's voice. Agree FZ always liked me some Pie
