cvansickle
Yep, me too. I think Jim Steinman is one of the best songwriters of all time. Meat Loaf himself is an amazing singer. Many of the songs have a kitsch element, but that's what makes the music fun.
BIGBENDS
It was a magical collaboration. After all these years I find myself listening to and appreciating that album more and more.
RichCI
Great stuff for sure but, after attending college, I can confidently say that I would die a happy man if I never heard "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" again for as long as I live. Homz
Great album. On a lark during one of our band jams my wife pulled up the music and started playing it. The whole band jumped in and it was one of those magical moments we all work for. Later while listening to the recordings I must admit it wasn't that good, but it felt good 'in the moment'. I seriously doubt there are many musicians / performers that put as much heart into their work as Meatloaf does.

deepblue
Mr. Loaf was actually an actor not a singer.
