E-minor7
I don't dare to throw the dart here - might hit you, , , or myself in the leg. Feel like saying a slot-head, but could kill the canary by doin' that. A Harmony Sovereign (which would suit you), , , no, now the arrow is in the aquarium waiting for Zomb to get it. Stoooop. . Pass !

Pass ! Oh how I long for a harmony sovereign But no I’m getting on my own nerves now , and usually hate this sort of stuff as I nevert get it This is a guitar I bought when I was 17 or so ... can’t remember when It’s 25 years old then or so maybe 27/28 . But it’s just a laminate Yamaha I vaguely remember giving it to my uncle because he said my niece was thinking of playing guitar. Long forgotten , then my mum said other day that my uncle was clearing out and did I want my old guitar back. I said yes. Got it today , cleaned it with mr sheen and put some strings on it ! Had a little nostalgic moment Doesn’t sound too awful does it ? https://i.imgur.com/r2pFxyql.jpg%5B/img%5D Sal ! It didn’t work 🙁

E-minor7
Alriiiiite, , , never underestimate an old Yam. Sounds quite good (let's hear some faded steel). Like the look - they still use that little twig. It's on my burst FG 820. You need to take this one to a garden-party. Ever heard of those. . blindboygrunt
How it sounded was a pleasant surprise. I’m just glad to have it back. Is a nice feeling to have something that was so important to me at that age return back again. I would’ve loved to let you hear it as it was because I’m pretty sure the strings were the same ones from 25 odd years ago , but I was scared to touch them. One was also missing so I just stripped the guitar , cleaned it , cleaned it again ,restrung it , laughed at the paint missing from the bridge . Nowadays we’re worried about rosewood or micarta density and there’s this thing with , I don’t know , a piece of chipboard or something The recording is lacking in perfect tuning , I’m not sure yet if thats the 3 minute old strings or a further isssue with the 1.99 tuning pegs I shall do a proper recording at the weekend while I spend time with the old best friend from the past No idea how it was stored all this time . Will ask uncle next time I see him , but it cratainly had no case and looked like it’s been in a garage behind the half empty paint tins Laminates definitely age is the conclusion Sorry about there being no gibson content but I knew one or two of you would have a half interest in this hardly front page news story
