E-minor7 Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Yes, we've seen some of them here - very entertaining and excellent C-19 therapy. Earle is the not the heaviest expert on the planet, but he has insight and heart. And his herd is a tivoli. . Quote
zombywoof Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I watched the series as it unfolded. Like other musicians Steve's schedule has been curtailed so it may have been something he was doing just to keep himself occupied and because he loves guitars. The last time I got to see him was on the Guy Tour. A great flippin' show. Quote
Dave F Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 He was on the Opry on March 27th and did a good job. You can probably catch a rerun on Circle. Quote
slimt Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 (edited) I own a 1874 Martin 2/27 Its a killer guitar. Silk and steels That 2/24 that S Earle has looks nice. Edited April 5, 2021 by slimt Quote

I know mine is dated and signed . But no model I.D. Had to got through a Gruhn book for that one. The more ornate , the higher the number. Mine has the ivory binding. Ivory Buttons. Gold lip abalone. I think they stopped using Ivory in the mid to late 1880s. Quote
Sgt. Pepper Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 Just watched a few. Him, and Vince Gill have all the acoustic guitars. 1 Quote
