sparquelito
Interesting how many versions of The Hitmaker strat he had in his arsenal. I wonder how much the original would go for?😗
jdgm
Interesting interview on BBC. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/entertainment-arts-59333291 IMO his work on Bowie's "Let's Dance" is f***in' outstanding. Brilliant rhythm player. He says he's still keeping 126 guitars...! Edited November 26, 2021 by jdgm

Brilliant rhythm player. He says he's still keeping 126 guitars...! Nile's guitar work on Let's Dance was phenomenal. And his transformation of a rough Bowie song idea on the title track, from a rough, barely-danceable sketch in the key of F, to a catchy, hook-filled dance track, was splendid. My band performed the song Let's Dance a few times live. ALWAYS a crowd-pleaser!🙂
Twang Gang
Seems he was fond of having people sign his guitars - lots of them covered with signatures. Certainly a wide variety of makes and models. A lot of them estimated at over $20,000. I never understood why a guitar owned by a famous musician was worth more than the exact same model owned by you or me? Cache I guess. Good to see some of these guys sell off these guitars so others can enjoy them, and donate the money to charity.
Sgt. Pepper
Mexican Strat for 1 - 2k. You can buy them all day on Reverb for $500 . . . but I guess it won't have that Nile Rodgers tone.
