i’m 49 and have always played S-style guitars, but after a hiatus i decided to pick up a Gibson Les Paul Special to try out P-90s. I love that guitar; how it plays and how it sounds. And now I have just bought an Epiphone 1959 Limited Edition Les Paul and I love this thing too. I don’t even like playing my other guitars anymore (watch for them on Reverb!). Anyway I do like cranking some fuzz pedals into my Blues Jr.  and occasionally adding a Phase 90. I’ve been into using the 60s/early 70s retro type gear to get stoner rock/metal through to sludgy doom sounds.  I like it dirty.

hi  welcome to the forum..

Les Pauls are Hammers, Strats are crescent wrenches.

when you need a hammer, a crescent wrench won't do.

Thanks and yeah I really enjoy the P90s a lot.  They’re kind of addictive and surprisingly versatile.

Well…. I have used a crescent wrench to pound in a nail or two. 🤔

Thanks!

Have you ever seen a large crescent wrench from the Railroad?  Haha, They could be used for hammers too?
