Eutropios
I am hoping to identify and eventually sell a Gibson Custom Shop Acoustic, which I inherited. I attach pictures below of the interior label and several exterior shots. Thanks for any help you can provide in identifying this instrument! jedzep
It says 'Advanced Jumbo' right on the label.
slimt
Nice AJ.
fortyearspickn
It's a desirable guitar. Don't rush the sale. The signature on the label (Ren Ferguson) adds significant value to those who know who he is and appreciate fine guitars. Maybe his special stash of 'Mystic Rosewood'. Eutropios
Thanks so much for the details! I literally know nothing of these guitars, so I thought I would come to the experts to have some sense of what i'm dealing with before I get it appraised. dhanners623
It is a 2010. If your intent is to sell it, an appraisal from a reputable shop would be worthwhile.
Eutropios
Thank you both, dhammers623 and fortyyearspickn. In terms of sale, would it be wiser to sell directly to a shop or are online options best?
fortyearspickn
Look into "Reverb".
Dave F
Luthiers Choice usually means choice woods and special neck carve. Usually a beefier neck that's desirable to some.
J185cat
May very well be one of the “Mystic Rosewood” AJ’s. The tunners look to be Waverly’s. This is a very nice guitar. Do you research>
