Canister
Hey Guys, I went to my luthier today to have the LR Baggs bronze element pickup that came stock with my L-00 Studio rosewood replaced with a K&K pure mini. Upon checking the bridgeplate before installing, the picture he took was quite a surprise.
Sgt. Pepper
So is your a Nick Lucas, and put in the wrong case, or did they have and extra bridge plate lying around they need to use?
Murph
Multi use,
Canister
It's a L-00 Studio Rosewood with Nick Lucas and a number on the Bridgeplate which took me by surprise
slimt
No.6 L00 N Lucas is what I read. Increase production pre making all the parts. One size fits all
zombywoof
Based on one of those "Gibson Process" videos.slimt is spot on in that all parts are made in advance in assembly line fashion. I have never seen the parts themselves labeled though. Then again, I have never poked around under the hood of a Bozeman-made guitar probably because I would not assume that such was a necessary part of the inspection as it is with older instruments. But I would be willing to bet if you did, you would run into other L Series bridge plates with that label.
Dave F
The Nick Lucas uses the L00 body shape. It’s just thicker.
