tazzboy
Well if you got $3,740.00 to buy it brand new then by all means go for it. Cause that's how much they are through Musician's Friend.
surfpup
Nice! I was just thinking about Soldano amps the other day. There isn't much talk here about them - but I've never heard on sound bad. Guess the price is prohibitive.

AXE®
IF ?- you pay Musicians Friend prices. You deserve to get boned. NICE amp though.
RichCI
No way. For a high price ticket like that, I always go local. I have *great* local store that I've been shopping at for decades and they always treat me right. Russo Music Center They just redid their web site so it's fairly useless at the moment but I know they've carried Soldano in the past.

NeoConMan
Very, very cool.... I would never sell my old JCM 800, but I get the feeling I could go ahead and put it in the closet if I had the Soldano.
RichCI
I hear ya; a JCM 800 would be totally badass but, to get the kind of gain that the Soldano gets, you need to either blast it or use a pedal which is what I'm doing with my Mesa now. Then again, you could probably buy two or three JCM 800s for what that damned Soldano costs.
cwness
I get tons of gain out of my Orange tt and the Marshall VM 2266 you might want to try one of these. I guess the guy tuning the controls just turned my off. Not my cup. CW
RichCI
Well, the Tiny Terror doesn't have enough power for my band. The Marshall VMs are cool, but my Mesa already does high gain. What I like about that Soldano amp is the particular way it sounds and breaks up, I wouldn't be buying it just to get a high gain sound, but THAT high gain sound. :oilpit:
Soldanos are amazing, I was real close to buying one (went with a Mesa Lonestar Special in the end) What bothers me about the SLO is the shared EQ, if I were to get one I would go for a Lucky 13 those things are SWEEET! Riffster
I am glad I watched the full video, once I heard THAT gain I knew where you were coming from. Sweet sounding amp, just incredible. At that price does it come with the guy twisting the knobs?
surfpup
Hmmm... this one seems pretty cheap. It's the 50 watt model, but still...
