Slash is a remarkably capable guitarist with a great sense of melody and timing, a compelling image, and all of the makings of the ultimate rock icon, and I don't think anyone can truly deny that. He's great, and yes, I'm going to contradict what I said earlier by calling him creative. He's done some awesome stuff. And I'm not just jumping on the bandwagon. Lawdy I love SRV. He was freakin' incredible. On the other hand, I also love Jimmy Page, when his playing is more emotional and expressive.
