Don't know if it's changed any - I have my doubts. ABSOLUTELY NO POLITICS yet it permeated many threads. No problem as long as you leaned the same way everybody else does. The thing is, how much can you say about guitars and related gear? MLP is where I go when I feel like really geeking out; those guys analyze stuff to the point of being ridiculous (and I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way - but it ain't always good either) so I haven't felt the need to join yet another message board system that probably contains mostly the same information. The funny thing is is that I belong to this board and MLP yet I rarely get into threads that discuss Les Pauls unless the discussion is about an unusual guitar or about making modifications. Les Paul guitars have been around for over 50 years with various models introduced here and there so, really, how much can you say about them other than discussing a particular rare one or slapping in some new electronics (which is a matter of taste anyway)?
