Bluemoon
Does anyone know how long it takes Gibson to build a Les Paul Standard? I am thinking 4 weeks.

Gibson CS
I heard 3 months... I admit that sounds a little long. Good question.
bullet22
It's hard to say for sure, as you'd have to add up all the build time of the individual parts, then there's the finishing time - which I understand is a slow process. Some people with sticky necks might argue that however long it is, it needs to be a little longer..!
MikeRom
Also depends on the color. If they're not shooting that color at the time that your guitar is ready for paint you'll have to wait until they are ...
Thundergod
I was under the impression that they pulled quite a lot a day... Now seriously, it deppends on the color as they dont do different colors at the same time. And i guess it will deppend on the entire production of the factory for the time you order your guitar... RichCI
No idea but I'm sure it involves more than just the actual construction. The factory probably has a schedule of guitars to build that is put together weeks or months in advance that they need to fulfill before they get to newer orders. That is, it's not like they get an order and immediately start working on it.
