S t e v e
have you ever tried the ISP Decimator? A buddy of mine owns both the ISP and the Boss NS-2 and to me the ISP sounds better.... but idk. It's probably just a matter of personal preference. never heard of it till now...i'll do some research
ledzep59
What would the Rolex be worth now? Well this was only 4 years ago and the jewelry market is in the dumper but I would say around $6k. I had already thought about getting the Rolex and selling it to buy a super R9, but I'm pretty sure my parents would have been pretty upset if I had done that. [/quote'] yea, youre right.... it is.... at least the g-string version is. the basic version is only $130... (the NS-2 is about $90, so its only $40 more) http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-ISP-DECIMATOR-LIST This is the version my friend has. To me it sounds better than the Boss but like i said its probably a matter of personal taste. A lot of professional guitars use the Boss NS-2 (probably more people than ones that use the ISP) so maybe they like it; i'm just saying to me the ISP sounds better. Plus the ISP has a mirrored case which looks really cool and it only has 1 knob so its a lot simpler and easier to use than the Boss one[biggrin]

Always considered them an expensive watch. I had NO idea how they appreciated. Some more so than others, of course, but it's an interesting market to explore, which is all I can afford to do; explore.

My best purchase is the guitar I've always wanted to play since I came across jazz music: my ES-175 Steve Howe signature
Hector Arcadius
Honestly? Every single piece of gear that I own. My first Epi SG SPecial and (hideous) 10w amp from Thomann got me playing My Zoom multipedal is a good companion still today, as a tuner, drum-machine, modulations My H&K amp was an upgrade I URGENTLY needed from that hideous little amp I was saying My o/d pedals kick serious a$$ and complement perfectly each other My Lester! (what can I add?) I also own that Vox Amplug that was mentioned before, as well as a little Marshall ''half-stacl'' for practising with headphones and I also use them (nowadays more than ever I'm afraid...) I honestly can't tell. It has to do of course with the fact that I'm kinda maniac when it comes to buying gear. I go through EXTENSIVE research before I buy anything. Lowdown
Either my RG550' date=' Iceman, or the first Tech21 Trademark 60 combo. I love the guitars but the Trademark 60's are killer great combo's and react like tube amps and since I love smaller amps now they are the main amps these past few years.... [/quote'] Whoah! You have an Iceman? Original PS-10? Absolutely beautiful guitar,if you do.
