NeoConMan
Yeah, I was scrolling thru the site - past all the f-ing Epiphones.... Really not much on there that grabs me anymore. In the Les Paul area alone, there's too much sh!t to sort thru to find anything I would be remotely interested in. Dusk Tiger/Dark Fire/Robot? No. JP "Number Two" for $5 digits - and "aged" at that? Hell no. The Sammy Hagar is cool I suppose, and I'm a huge fan. I dunno. Street price around $2500 ain't bad. LP Studio? No. Great guitar and a good value, just too plain vanilla for me. Says you're a cheapskate. 2008 LP Standard? Hell no. They flushed 50 years of legendary guitars down the sh!tter with that abomination. No way I'm paying money for ANYTHING Faded - it's not finished yet. 50th 1959? Yeah, that would be a cool one but it's hard to throw $6k on it. 50th 1960? Yeah, that would be a cool one and I might throw $6k on it. 1952 LP? That trapeze tail sucked *** big time. Collector piece only, not a player. Gimme a TOM. Les Paul Custom has always had a warm spot in my heart. Great piece. VOS? Hell no. I ain't paying money for a new guitar that looks like sh!t. The LP Traditional Pro is a great set up with a great $2200 street price, just cover the coils. Axcess ain't my cup of tea, certainly not for the money. Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates? $15k for WHAT? Nice guitar, but an incredibly stupid price. The Jap Doublecut and LP Jr. are cool pieces, likely very well made. Good to see! Keep the Zakk Wylde BFG - at any price. Now the Zakk Wyle LP Custom? Pricey, but a very nice piece - even though it has EMG's... I REALLY like the Les Paul Florentine with a Bigsby! Played a couple of them. It's on my short list. Buckethead? I can't even say yes or no - only WHY? Don't need a Les Paul with a piezo. The Les Paul Traditional - the Standard with a tricky new name. Nice still after 50 years. Les Paul Supreme? An LP wearing a fancy tuxedo. Nice piece for the money. Mike Bloomfield for $14k? See JP or BG. Jeff Beck Oxblood '54? Kinda pricey, but I see how fans would buy it. Raw Power? Okay, Maple neck but what else? Les Paul Junior? ALWAYS cooler'n hell! Billie Joe LP Jr.? Why spend the extra money? Joe Bonamassa Les Paul? Why spend the extra money? Steve Jones Custom? Why spend the extra money? Mick Jones Les Paul Custom? I'm a big fan, but it's alot of money for a few gimmicks. Same with the Slash. Special II Electric Player Pack Special II Performance Pack All Access Electric Pack Les Paul PeeWee RaveRig Why is this SH!T even on the Gibson website? Henry has finally lost his mind... rocketman
They have the ES-359 in the ES section, but they still didn't move the ES-339 there? I just don't get it...

Shnate McDuanus
One thing really caught my eye: That's the 1934-L5 Reissue. I'm still pissed that the Firebird line is still so limited. Still only two models. The LP Doublecut Japan Exclusive also looks pretty sweet.

MojoRedFoot
I LOVE the LP florentine!!! Also, I'll settle for an L-4 if I can't find the ES 175 I'm looking for.
Thundergod
Same with the Slash. Man... name one gimmick on the slash siganture other than his name... the guitar is a normal les paul with his name on it, I too don't get why the huge price on such a thing. Maybe it's got Slashtone :)
RichCI
I'd be happy if they just put out a Special or Studio with P90s that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Since when did slab body guitars with plain finishes start costing over $2k? I don't care about reissue this or VOS that, just make a good playing guitar at a reasonable price.
