My work here is done............you lose Neo.

No, Blackie, not even close.

My loss is the same as the loss felt by every one in this nation when the truth is so "flexible" for all.

You can't touch me.

Never could.

Not tryin to touch you...........you are to far gone on the fringe side of things.........but those reading this know I refuted

some of the lies you are always pushing. I am not some leftist liberal whatever........I seek the truth without right or left bias.

You and Richard Clarke?

If you're in a room - by yourself, all alone - then maybe you could win.

Clarke as a source makes that less likely.

Here?

With me?

No.

:D

Oh, have you picked up the book Karl Rove just put out?

It might be very revealing.

Check it out - if'n you'sa want to....

Yeah' date=' that's a good one!

You can surf the web to PROVE what you want to believe!

I'm sorry, would you care to cite your Lefty sources - and stand by them like your life depended on them?

Would you like me to pull out all the stops and post all the dirt on Clinton that I have?

If you're a lobotomized liberal Lefty and you're happy about it, continue on.

That list is a joke though.

Trust me, this thread wouldn't survive me taking it apart point by point.

One more thing - how old are you ZZ?

For the sake of perspective ya know...

Man, ain't it great what a hour of playing a guitar will do for your psyche?

Yeah Neo, I apologize if I pushed too many buttons. I'd even take exception myself to a lot of what I posted in Clinton administration accomplishments. I do love and hate debating politics, and I have a hard time leaving it alone.

I vote Blackie... LOL

Just wrapped up a Town Hall meeting with my Congressman.

I was reminded of a story I heard yesterday from a man named Mark, how it is so lost on our lawmakers now.

How many people in our government today will take a stand on the truth?

There's no money to be made in the truth...

When a very prominant leader was unjustly accused and then punished, a dozen of those working closest

with him vowed to carry on the fight - and make everybody aware once and for all what went wrong.

Two of them in particular, Jim and Johnny, said they wanted to be given the authority to speak on the behalf

of the rest of the group and would also face the same consequences if need be - they knew they were right.

All they had to do is get the message out to the right people, but they needed the authority to do so.

They went to their boss to see if he would grant them said authority before he was unable to do it later on.

He thought they were being foolish, that their sacrifice would not really help anything.

They weren't facing the sort of peril their boss was, so why would they just volunteer for such a fate?

Then their boss called the entire group to a meeting, and his point was conveyed by saying

"You know that the rulers and leaders of this world lord it over their people.

Officials flaunt their authority over those they consider to be beneath them."

He went on to discuss the arrogance we too often see in those who think they know best for us all;

Then he explained to his people how they were gonna have to do things differently - the right way.

Imagine their confusion when he told them

"Whoever wants to be a leader among you, needs to learn first to be your servant.

You want to be Number One, calling all the shots, you need to know how to do as everyone else asks.

Nobody here is too great for such a role, and it's the greatest lesson you'll ever embrace.

No real leader has ever lasted without knowing who he really works for."

I wasn't there for any of this, and I'm paraphrasing for clarity.

But I thought that it was clearly illustrative of a concept that almost all of our "public servants" have lost.

Oh, and here's the "issues" page from my Congressman's website;

www.trentfranks.com/pageea25.html?id=24

I'd have to say I'm with him 100% on that page.

Well, maybe 98%. I disagree a bit on the part about nekkid women, that's just the Libertarian in me.

Arizona has a great reputation for electing idiots into their government.

Napolitano, who's now running Homeland Security after leaving Arizona's border wide-*** open.

John McCain, who's basically Hillary Clinton in a suit.

Symington and others too many to list here.

I am so glad Franks is my Congressman.

We've met with him and his wife a couple times, I really believe in the guy.

He's the ONLY one I can say that about in the last decade.

The guy Mark who told the story, I couldn't find his last name anywhere in the book.

How did that happen?

Wasn't there a law against killing people?

Was the offender legally in possession of the gun at the time?

Were there any actions taken beforehand to prevent such a horror?

Blackie, my campaign started in 1979 when our hostages were taken in Iran, and will end when I'm dead.

[cool]

And there seems to have been a deafening silence on the issues from your camp.

Not a single question I asked was answered.

The vote seems to be cast in a vacuum, devoid of any facts, logic, reason or critical thinking.

[biggrin]

Is that the norm in the USA now?

I was hoping it was just a passing phase and people could only snooze for so long.

Been two years now counting the primaries...

I have classified all your comments now as most probably false after you

were caught lieing about several historical events

Here's a template for a list' date=' so you can document anything you deem to be a lie.

speaking of guns, i received my 30 round AR-15/M-16 mags today. and i have 300 rounds of 5.56 arriving tomorrow. and my state is about to pass a law this week allowing carry permit holders to secure their guns in the their cars while at work, regardless of the employer's policies. and last week we passed a law forbidding the release of carry permit holders' names and addresses under the freedom of information act (BIG hole finally closed with that one). it's good to live in my state.
