Californiaman
This is really cool. You can see the craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Dub-T-123
Thanks for sharing that was interesting. It wasn't incredibly in-depth but I probably wouldn't have understood it if it was. They lose me on the Mesa ones. Man those Hiwatts are beautiful. I have some AAS.
NeoConMan
Really cool indeed! I guess I missed the boat, I just assumed all the Hiwatt stuff was made in China now. Looks like I'll be doing some surfing and shopping....
sgbass
Outstanding! Thank you for that. First time I saw and heard Hiwatt live was the first Grand Funk Railroad concert tour in 1969-1970 in Dania FL.
NeoConMan
Wow. I was only this many (holds up fingers on one hand) years old then... :-) I'm liking the 50 watt head. The price is a problem though...

For the DIYrs out there, VHR sells a Custom DR 504 in 100 and 50 watt amp kit. Still, I'll probably sack some cash away until one finds me. The English built quality is very impressive. Riverside
They are owned by this bunch... better get 'em while you can. Although they insist that it's a separate business, I've read that there's speculation that funds were siphoned from the failing stores into HiWatt. Retail stores going belly up

NeoConMan
Hah! Brad (in the first clip) doesn't sound like he's from El Lay. That's a southern accent, and I don't mean Sandy Eggo. :-)
