Axe got me goin on the GFR kick [thumbup]

these guys along with Sabbath were my two favorite bands back in the day,,,

listen to Mel the bass player,, awesome stuff !! of course Mark was cool as hell with his style of play and LONG hair [unsure] always wanted hair like that when I was young, funny how times change

I saw them live in about 1972 , they sucked and it was so bad that people walked out. talk about kill a buzz. lol!!!

I saw them several times in the seventies and they ALWAYS put on a great show !! Mark Farner puts on a high energy show every time,, I saw him after the GFR break up in a SMALL club setting here in Florida that I could get right next to the stage, THAT was awesome !!

I often wonder what goes through a mans head to be at such a level of playing HUGE auditoriums and have huge stardom only to eventually end up in small clubs, I guess alot of guys like small settings but it has to toy with the ego somewhat,,

can you see DAVID Lee Roth in a small club ? MR EGO !!!! ******bag :-({|=
