Bassmedic05
I went to the Factory tour while I was taking some military classes in Millington TN. You can't take pic while inside the guitar making part of the tour. It was so cool, if you haven't been and you get the chance do it.

Riffster
Cool, I have been to the Showcase but did not take the tour, I am going to Memphis mid-July, I am planning to take the tour if I can.
Bassmedic05
Plan ahead and make reservation at least a week or two prior to going there, I think the tickets were $10.00. I would describe it as a father going into a delivery room lol.....I know I'm twisted.

Riffster
There are no tours at the Gibson factory here, you can only see where they make the dobros and mandolins but both the plant and the dobro/mando shop were under water during the Nashville flood. milod
That wasn't there when I was in Memphis. <frown> Millington at the time had a lotta aviation Marines... I knew a few of 'em and was a guest at the USMC birthday with Gunny Hathcock as the speaker. Great memories even if it had nothing to do with guitars.... m
Tim Plains
Funny, I saw all those guitars there back in March - the three Dusk Tigers, the Dark Fire, the Bloomfield, and the two ESs. Guess no one buys from that place...can't say that I blame them.
