mking
What year is your J-45 TV. Does it have the Sitka top or Adi?
Taylor Player
My guitars always tend to sound best as the humidty in my room is as close to 40% as possible. I still love the summer when I can leave my guitars out instead of cased with humidifiers. Minnesota winters suck for solid wood guitars.
mblood555
Hi ... ive often thought my mahogany guitar still sounds good in high humidity whereas my rosewood sounds like crap.. that J45 TV is a killer guitar .. mine just celebrated its first birthday.. happy playing! MapleManiac
What year is your J-45 TV. Does it have the Sitka top or Adi? Adirondack top. It's brand new. Left the Gibson factory on June 1st. Of course.............we've gone back to about 1,000 percent humidity for the past week and it's lost some of it's life and crispness. But I'm sure that will change. rockinrebel
It is amazing how much better they sound when the humidity is lower. I've only heard my "new" 1966 J-50 during a Georgia summer. And it sounds really good now. Just wait for the fall.

Gilliangirl
NO! We cannot skip summer and go to fall. I'm entitled to my 5 weeks of summer a year. Glad to hear you're loving your guitar, Maple.

Rambler
NO! We cannot skip summer and go to fall. I'm entitled to my 5 weeks of summer a year. Likewise here in the Granite State. First summer in 3 years that hasn't been short, cool, cloudy, and wet. No tampering!

MapleManiac
You could always move to Southern Arizona...... I think about 3 days of that "dry heat" would be about all I could stand.
