Tim Plains
1959 Les Paul Standards - I think 1,600 were produced, and of those, only 600 or so are accounted for. I remember those numbers from a youtube video I posted here some time ago. The remaining 1,000 '59s are either destroyed or who knows where... Tim Plains
Found it. They say it around 1 minute into it. Who knows what numbers are right and what numbers are wrong...the bottom line is, you or I will never own one. :P Les Paul Sunburst Guitar Value in 1959: $275 (Hey, what happened to the youtube-link button?) Silverbursted
Here is one for NeoConMan...I looked at the Youtube posting from TimA and saw another video about Slash's guitars. About half way through is a 12 string Les Paul!!! I would love to see one of those. Has anyone seen one of these that was not attached to the other half of an SG? I've searched the Internet and can't find one. My guess, this was a special provided by Gibson.
