about a week ago, we found out my wife is about 6-8 weeks pregnant... our daughter turned four two months ago.. good age gap i think.... the only down side (and its not even a down side really) is that we are finally about to get a little break in the 600 a month for the 25 hours a week in sitting when she goes to school......well.... not anymore!! hahahahahahahah....

IRONICALLY, i JUST traded in the mustang about a week after we mst likely concieved for the subaru STi(i never drive our spare car, and i have been trying to talk the wife into selling it, but a spare 4 door acura is pretty sweet to have but i have to big of an ego to drive a 12 yr old car everyday...loser)... lol... and i was entertaining the thought of moving my music room to a different spare bedroom we because the current music room is the same size as our daughters room...and i wanted a bigger music area... lol....all that talk about "well, when we have a number 2 it will be easier....lol" ultra exciting!!

we both wanted another girl, but our daughter has been running around saying shes getting a brother......

our plans PRE-Child are to finish our bedroom, do my new music room and i plan on refinishing the last floor in our livingroom and also update some landscaping while the wife is still able to be mobile..lol..

mini vans = death.

we wont buy an SUV or a MINIVAN.... we have 3 4 doors... that should be more than enough space!!!

if i did sell my soul to the devil, i would get an MDX...

well ill make it guitar related....

with designing the music room, should i seperate the acoustics, gibby/epis and fenders in seperate walls? or do everything by color???????????

i am just ultra glad we bought a house with 4 decent bedrooms instead of 3 and convertion the basement or attic- it would have never gotten done!

Congratulations evol04gt!

My wife and I had a son named Julian (after some famous guy's son). Unfortunately, he passed away. A child is a wonderful gift and I wish you the best. Someday I will have that Casino Elitist that I wanted to buy for him.

Best of luck to you and your family. And in designing a truly great guitar room.

=D> Congrats and the very best of wishes......that's about the same age gap as our kids (now 15 - daughter, and 11 - son) Dismiss the silly talk - we've made it this far without a minivan......which was easy as my wife hates minivans....and suv's....and station wagons .....of course, this "kind of" leaves open the option for me picking up an old school Caddy hearse, although fueling it wound bit......but I digress...

Hmmmm ...,.. I drive a 16 year old Celica convertible as my daily driver...my daughter has sights on it becoming hers, but...nah. I wouldn't mind getting an sti like yours =P~ .... but I'm a cheap arse who doesn't want to spring for insurance on a quick new car. If I need "speed," I visit my brother...... he has a '66 Porsche 911 and a '99 'Vette - fun stuff....

BUT (to help keep on topic) - he can't play guitar... Epiphones or otherwise

thanks guys!!!

yeah kids are interesting.. you cant protect them. you just gotta hope youre always doing whats best.

when our girl was about 6 months old, we found out she was hit REALLY hard by our sitter at the time. skull fracture hard.... worst moment in my life.. second worse was the day i was in the shower upstairs (she was about a year and a half).. some how our front door didnt latch when i brought the dogs back inside..came downstairs as soon as i was done to find the front door open. a HUGE delivery truck driver saw her in the road and stopped.. she was sitting on the curb and there i was scarred out of my mind in a towel freezing and she just looks up at me like "hey daddy, where are you clothes?"

everytime i am wrapped up in lifes BS, work, other humas crap, greed, what ever---i remember how lucky i am that things werent worse.

i do a lot better job of not letting fear consume me than my wife does. you get wrapped up in the neg. and you ignore all that they are and all the ways they make you better people.

ya know, i would love for them to take up music (our daughter writes and sings these songs that are honestly better than most pop music these days) she sings a lot and has been trying to play drums on the tables with chopsticks.. she has a mandlin i let her use all the time. probably will get her a mini guitar if she shows real interest soon..

even if they want nothing to do with music, i am okay with that. if they are in athletics or what ever they want to do, i will always embrace that and let them be who they are.

the STi is freekin sweet.... its still a performance car.. im sure im going to be tuning it a little bit here and there... ijust sorta have to have a rad car.the wife likes the luxary cars, i like race cars..it works....... if i work as hard as i do and i never really go out or waste money on entertainment, i do the car thing and the music thing. one thing i learned with my mustang though--- dont go hog wild with it cause all the money i put into that car could have been some RAD guitars.

I WANT MY DIGITAL * TRACK THATS BACKORDERED 2 MONTHS!!! i have to lay down my music!
