fleetlin49 Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 My new, been hanging on the wall at the store forever, Epiphone '57 RI Les Paul Jr. I got this hot little thing for $300 + $80 for a hsc out the door man! I've been seeing them go for way more on the 'bay! I'm going to drop a reproduction '57 wiring harness that has CTS pots, a Luxe repro bumble bee cap, and Switchcraft jack. I'm also going to drop in a Gibson P-90 once it arrives. The reproduction '57 wiring harness and pointers I'm so happy with this guitar! The neck is chunky and comfy in my big fat hands and just feels sooo good. She Just sings too! I knew it had been there awhile but never really thought much about it, until I read some posts here. Then I checked her out and fell in love! A buddy ordered a Gibby dog ear P-90 about 5 weeks ago and still hasn't gotten it. The music store said it would take 10 days, whatever. He just should have gotten it off the 'bay. I think I'm starting to feel a little gassy....;) It looks as though it has the same body and neck as your '57 Junior, All the did was install two soapbar P-90s and a tune-o-matic bridge on it for the Japanese market. A handful of them ended up in the Canadian distributor's warehouse last year and I just had to grab one. I've got SD Vintage/Hot P-90s in it now.
