Just got to see "Shine A Light" the Martin Scorsese

Film about the Rolling Stones concert at The Beacon

Theater! They still ROCK! And Jagger, is a machine...

He works his butt off, as much now at (65?), as when

he was 25...maybe more so. Amazing! Keith...well,

when the Bomb goes off, and we're all nuked, the only

thing left, will be cock roaches, and Keith Richards!

Indestructible! LOL!

Lots of Gibby's and Fender's in sight...but, I didn't see

any Epi's...not even Keith's Casino. ;>( Still, it was fun!

This encourages me to see this. Although I bought Scorsese's Dylan movie "No Direction Home", because of the historical footage, and interviews with Dylan, I thought that it was a very poor documentary, and am dreading the one Scorsese is making about George (Harrison).

Concert for George was incredible' date=' one of the best memorials I've seen. Good stuff ![/quote']

Agreed. Done with a lot of respect and love not just slapped together. When I saw TP on the DVD it was the first time I realized Ron Blair was back and that was a good thing too.

Odd isn't it how things play out sometimes in this 'business' of making music?

Never considered myself a big 'Stones' follower, yet it was Keith who inspired me to first experiment with open tunings.

Three years pass, and I decided to learn slide (recently). Who inspired me to try -- Brian Jones. Little Red Rooster is uncluttered, pure emotion, timeless. Maybe for me the Stones will always be at their best when they are deepest in blues (and when Keith is singing?).

Since an Epiphone has been sighted, I will check out this new video, too.

Hit every BLUE NOTE baaaby..., I'm going to slide on:-"
