The wait is...

Well, we'll hope that your patience will be rewarded by a wonderful repair job,

and an immaculate instrument! But, I know the wait is difficult! I've waited

18 months, to get my Gretsch Country Gent "restored," and just found out

yesterday, that the guy that was going to do it, hasn't started it yet, and

what's even worse, isn't going to. He's "bailed" out of doing it, entirely.

(Lot's of different things (reasons) going on here, beyond his control...so,

I can't really get angry about it. Just dissappointed, that I'll have to find another

source, and wait even longer!) May send it to Gibson Repair/Restoration?

Anyone have any experience, with them?

LOL! Well, he's a good guy, and has just had a terrible year, personally...

so, I was kind of expecting this. I really wanted him to do it, because of

his past work, on my guitars, etc. He felt really bad, but...just doesn't know

when, he'd get to it now, with all that's going on, and didn't want me to have to

wait any longer. So, I'm looking around again. NO ONE wants to rebind

Gretsch's! OR, if they will, they charge the cost of a new "White Falcon" to

do so. So...I don't know what to do, really. May just "punt" for awhile.
