charlie brown
Yes, the entire "Elitist" line has been discontinued, except for the Elitist Casino. But, a lot of the on-line dealers, and local stores, still have stock. With the economy, the way it is...some of the larger ticket items, may not move as quickly as normal, so that might work in your favor? But, who knows? However...if you miss the Elitist 335, and Elitist Sheraton would be a great alternative! You can still find those, as well. In 2 months(?)....who knows? AS90
Get an Elitist Sheraton, it is an original Epiphone not a 'Gibson copy' and it is one of the most beautiful guitars money can buy. Oh, and the minibuckers sound awesome!
SkEpTiKaL
Whether or not it stays available through MF or other dealers depends on how fast their stock of them clears out. They've been discontinued for a little over a month now (I think) and most still have stock. There are a few with Restocking dates but those may never come back. Ron G
so do you think they'll still have them dec 16? You're asking a question that simply can not be answered, at least not with any accuracy. Obviously, being discontinued, all new Elitists (except the Casino) will eventually be gone. But when would just be a guess. You'll just have to wait and see. Listen closely, THEY WILL RUN OUT WHEN THEY RUN OUT, WE CAN'T PREDICT WHEN. Besides, the other models were'nt elitists, it's like comparing apples and oranges. JefferySmith
I doubt that you will find them in mid-December. Their numbers seem to be at about 20% of what they were when the discontinuation was announced.

ef_in_fla
Yes they'll be in stock in exactly the color you want. And the price will be heavily discounted and the shipping will be free. Better?

JefferySmith
There are alternatives to the Elitist Dot, but they are more expensive. If there are no Elitist Dots in mid-December, grab an Elitist Sheraton. If there are none of those, grab an Elitist Casino. I am SURE there will be Elitist Casinos, and you will like it! JefferySmith
Well, if the Epiphone Elitist of your choice is not available in December, there are alternatives. I know that Epiphone won't like this, but they are the ones who discontinued the Elitists. Check out this.
davidg3333
Try layaway - it's supposed to be making a come back. I know a local guitar shop was willing to do this for me for a Martin some months back, except it wasn't exactly layaway, it was a certain amount per month after which you took the guitar home. eor
wow! bacchus and tokai are expensive as hell! even the edwards seem to be pricier. i've read a lot about them whill shopping around (before settling on an elitist) but i had no idea they were that expensive. for that kind of money, i'd rather get a heritage, and not pay crazy shipping, customs and have to wait forever. ok, on pages 2 and 3 they are a little cheaper, but still. wow. anyhow, i would still expect elitists to be available on the used market, but if you want a new one, act fast. fast.
