generation zero Posted February 20, 2009 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Love that LP... I had one just like it a while back. I put open coil duncans in it, and replaced the pickup rings to chrome. The knobs I used chrome dome knobs with black inserts on the tops, and I put a black switch tip on the selector and removed he trim ring. So, everything on the body was black surrounded by chrome... It was super sweet. That's the one I made a natural finish solid birdseye maple pickguard and truss rod cover for. Even stock though, it's a beautiful, iconic finish. Especially in a plus top...
