generation zero Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 The busted floor model special strikes again, LOL! That's the best way to get a deal in that place. Just don't let them catch you causing the damage, LOL...
Memphs1978 Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 china.... its a el-chepo squire... but a set up p/u's and maybe some new pots.. and ill be happy
wedgeSG Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I'm surprised you got out with it: I asked about a badly nicked G400 in Chattanooga's GC and they said there was a new company policy that damaged guitars from the floor were to be replaced with a freshly removed from stock version and the damaged versions were to be stored until a advertised sale was held that would include those damaged versions held back until that date. I asked them if they wanted to move the guitar or not and they stuck by their guns while offering to order me a new one like it since this was the only one of that finish they had in stock at the time. They would have let it go at regular price however...... I didn't come home with any abused guitars or IOU's that day. Wedgie
Bender 4 Life Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 For $90 that Squire is a damn fine looking guitar........ hot rod it mechanically, bust the chip out & crayola the bare spot, or epoxy the chip back in place. either way, you came out GREAT!
