umm keep it as normal for now, i was surprised by how heavy it is lol, i paid 40quid for postage (and it came in just a bag)so i thought that was a bit pricey, i dunno,so in total £275 which isnt as nice sounding as 235, still it looks in good condition like described, the seller said there was slight marks on gold hardware from general use but i can barely see them, only thing is i reckon it needs a warm cloth to clean it up a bit. but it really is heavy lol. i have an electro acoustic takamine that has a skb made case and that is heavy too, i have some cheaper electrics and they are much lighter.

going to the guitar shop in a bit, gonna get some new strings, straplock and some picks.maybe i need a new amp too lol.

£40 is a bit of a rip off for postage in the UK. Email him and ask him why it cost £40 and if he's not reasonable then mention it in his feedback rating when you rate him. there is a bit on the 5 star rating that allows you to asses the seller's postage costs and whether they're reasonable. This is why feedback is there so make the most of it so he'll take the hint.

Hey, congrats on the Custom, they are fantastic. It's always nice to see more Customs, I have one myself and I love it. You're right, they are pretty darn heavy, but it's worth it, that's why they sound so good. I don't remember where I read this, which probably isn't really very ideal since I've been quoting it all over the place, but the Custom apparently has the thickest body of all Epi LP's, and the slimmest neck too. So you get a guitar that sustains like it's on viagra and is nice and easy to play. The gold hardware on mine is pretty well worn too, I'm probably going to replace some, most, or maybe even all of it. It's damn near silver! It'd look OK if it was a little worn like yours, but mine is completely worn. Plus, the saddles in the bridge are pretty old and worn out, which is never good.

Anyhow, enjoy the Custom!
