RenegadeMaster
I personally think Paul Weller is the best regularly Casino user around at the moment 22 Dreams is a brilliant album, I recommend anyone to download it and listen to it Paul Weller is a god However best use of a Casino ever in my eyes I really enjoy the juxtaposition of the telecasters tone with the Casinos tone (You have to listen hard but you can hear it) How Soon Is Now was recorded with a Epiphone Casino aswell I believe One of the most iconic guitar tracks ever, especially here in the 80s as I remember it

old mark
Dwight Yoakam plays one, and even designed a Dwight Yoakam model Casino... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwKLOvKzC8I He's been playing a Natural Casino Elitist for some time before the new model came about... Here's Dwight playing his model Casino in a video... I guess it's obvious that Casinos are very versatile guitars, not limited to one type of music at all... mark

charlie brown
See? Versatile! Thanks for posting this. mark You're Welcome, Mark. And, there's a reason, that Paul McCartney has repeatedly stated, that if he could only keep, or have, ONE guitar, it would be his Casino! That's certainly a testiment, to it's worth...IMHO. Never mind all the other Great players, who use one, to this day. CB
Jayyj
Chris Brokaw used to switch between a Jazzmaster and a vintage, Bigsby equipped Casino when he has playing with Come. If we're allowing ES-330s William Reid favoured a 330 for some of the later Jesus and Mary Chain albums, and Bernard Butler regularly played one on his solo stuff and Bert Jansch collaborations. charlie brown
Yeah, 330's are great guitars, too! It's funny, though, that since "The Beatles" started using Casino's, the ES-330 has (by comparison) been nearly eclipsed, by the Casino...even nearly 50 years later. Originally, they were identical, except for headstock shape, and name logo, and made in the same Kalamazoo factory, side by side. The fact that they're still as (or more) popular, than ever...Asian made or not, is pretty telling...IMHO. Love seeing (and, hearing) me, some Casino!! My Elitist Casino has rapidly become my go to guitar for a number of reasons. engenheiro5
Actually, The Rolling Stones (Group and Name), was Brian's Idea (along with Ian Stewart (keyboards)). No Brian, No "Rolling Stones!" And yeah, they were more imaginative, musically, with Brian. I like the Stone's various periods, but the original line up, is still my favorite, as well. I think it says a LOT, that they (essentially) abandoned Brian, instead of working to help him. CB hey men he was completly messed up in the end, but I agree, in Keffs bio book the story is telled perfectly.
