brianh
Well, there's already a couple of LP Junior threads, but another won't hurt: Here's my Junior stock: First mod with new tuners, SD hbucker, Leo Quan bridge & coil tap: Second Mod with Gibson P94: Here are some of the other threads: http://epi.p3net.net/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2659 http://forums.epiphone.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=12150 http://forums.epiphone.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=12528
Guest icantbuyafender
Duncan Detonator humbucker, dunlop straploks, coil tap via push pull, Fender TBX tone control, Chrome gibby style tulip tuners, Totally refinished in vintage white from the gloss black it once was. The neck has been sanded and shaped to my liking. Oh, and numerous cigarette burns and a burn hole due to drunk nights after a gig. Never use your guitar's back control cavity as an ashtray, I did and it aint pretty. Ive gota burn hole through the plastic cavity cover. haha, youth. This beast weighs as much as a LP custom. IDK how that happened.
deflepfan
I envy you all! Brian, is that the $78 Christmas sale Jr.? Sweet, one and all! There is this really special one on ebay, but I know it'll go over $400.00, the '57 reissues in yellow always do. The guy did a nice job making one of his own (see pics). http://cgi.ebay.com/Epiphone-Les-Paul-Junior-Jr-57-Custom-Shop-TV-Yellow_W0QQitemZ120517084642QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item1c0f60c5e2 There is another "57 in a burst listed for $380 http://cgi.ebay.com/Epiphone-57-Les-Paul-Jr-Reissue-Les-Paul-Junior_W0QQitemZ230421708478QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item35a6343ebe Then there is this one. What is he thinking? $200 + $72 to ship for a used bolt-on neck? Am I missing something here? This is the same one as MF's new $129, right? http://cgi.ebay.com/Epiphone-Junior-Model-Electric-Guitar-Black-GIBSON_W0QQitemZ190363809259QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item2c529135eb Anyways, I'm happy for you all and enjoy! Maybe I'll have one of my own by next summer. Sheila

I regularly see them going for $75 on CL, and I recently saw a black one for $50. Or you could wait until the next Black Friday.. If I can find a nice '57 reissue, I'll send you mine (less P94 and bridge) for real cheap...

brianh
Yeah I'm bummed out - there was a sunburst '57 reissue at a GC in NJ that sat there over the holidays. I had every intention of going to get it THIS WEEK, but it's gone now. Aargh. At this rate, I might have to buy (gasp) a GIBSON JR....

Manimal
Oh boy do I miss the "MIJ Lacquer Series" Les Paul Junior that I bought last year. Such a perfect looking guitar, played so well, and with the addition of a full Vintage RS wiring/electronics kit, and a Lollar P90. This guitar rocked so hard, and in a moment of stupidity sold her. Noooooo!!!!!!

The one I was looking at in CG was $350, no case. I assumed they would let it go for $300, that's really more the going price for a stock '57 RI sans case... BTW, for someone in the Chicago area, this could be a good deal if they can be tyalked down a bit: http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/msg/1553193760.html
