...Buffalo, did you ever take a pic of Headphones on Harp? Not like it's

a Crisis - just curious...

Yes. The headphones are just cheap $9.99 headphones. Those holes you see on the back of the harp serve 2 purposes - they act like your guitar's soundhole/ F holes, to let the sound out. They also allow me to install new strings.

Buffalo - thanks for the pics in #29(with a "Tag-Team assist" from RTH)!!!!

I get a chuckle from the Pics, never seen THAT done before!

Well, since you're blessed with the ability to play HARP -

Have you ever heard of a "ROCK" HARPIST named Andreas Vollenweider???

I discovered him from his Album "Dancing With the Lion", GREAT stuff. You can

pull up Youtube Vids of his.... Dancing with the Lion is a good song/Vid. IF you've

NEVER heard of Him, give it a look/listen. MAny other good tunes, too. He has several

LPs out.

IF you DO know of him, and like his music, you understand. If you don't like him,

then [cursing][cursing][cursing] !!!! [biggrin]

I try to do my tuning by ear (Crazy I know but what the hell...)

My trick involves the 4/5th Frets (For GBE Tuning)

123456 123456 123456 123456 123456

50XXXX X50XXX XX50XX XXX40X XXXX50

If your tunes right both strings should sound exactly the same

I learned this while practicing chord scales...

I often use a variation on this by using natural harmonics, but unless you have pitch perfct hearing you will almost certainly miss proper concert pitch unless you have a keyboard or a tuning fork or something handy.

Ever since i saw this tread the first time round i have always found it to be helpful when tuning up [biggrin]
