rocketman
I remember seeing these before too. According to http://vintage-guitars.blogspot.com "In 1965 a 12 string version of the ES-335 was also introduced and was called the Gibson ES-335-12, made in cherry or natural finishes, various colors in 1968 and were discontinued in 1971." Riffster
Of course, it seemed like 90% of bands in the sixties were using 12-string guitars, mainly hollowbody. With all of that jangly trend Gibson had to jump on the action.
jaxson50
David Crosby played one for years. http://www.kimkinrade.com/blog/2008/01/15/gibson-es-335-12-string-electric/

EVOL!
They sure did make them. Ricky Maymi of the Brian Jonestown Massacre plays a heritage cherry one.
L5Larry
Tom Wheeler's book "American Guitars" states that between 1965 and 1970 Gibson made 2032 twelve-string 335's, 892 of them in cherry.
