dem00n
I have this nooby ibanez i got as a gift 2 years ago from my sis, i don't plan on getting rid of it cause its a gift and it plays very well. But it doesn't sound that good, i didn't know about the shitty wood in-till after i put super distortions on it. I'm think about throwing actives on it if i cant find any pups that will work for this guitar, no EMG's of course. If i have to get actives, i was thinking about these. http://guitarheads.net/products/pickups/acthbset.html

dem00n
SD Blackouts, dude. Thats what i was thinking. I was also thinking to put the dave mustaine one in the bridge because its more versatile then regular blackouts and put a live wire classic two in the neck. Dem00n, what exactly is the difference between the normals and the Mustaine's?
dem00n
Dem00n, what exactly is the difference between the normals and the Mustaine's? The blackouts are more of a straight on high output heavy metal active pickup. The Musatine one is still high output but not as high as the blackouts, i would still be able to get a nice clean tone out of the Mustaine, on the website you can see the differences to. Mr. Natural
... i didn't know about the shitty wood in-till after i put super distortions on it.... I don't think agathis is necessarily a "sh!tty" wood for a guitar. It IS inexpensive, but not necessarily "sh!tty".
