Californiaman
Low key. That's alright. He may have not had the celebrities there, but he's in good company now.

Sproggie
I hope that church doesnt try to capitalise on it by charging people to see his grave. They won't charge anything. All churches and graveyards are open to anyone in the UK. All sobering stuff. Same age as me. I love the choice of music for the service.
retrosurfer1959
Sounds like a classy end for a classy man surrounded by those he loved without the false glitter of fame. The reading of the poem "The Guitar by Federico-Garcia-Lorca" by his daughter as well as Danny Boy played by his son are both very meaningful choices I bet the impact to those present was amazing. The first lines of that poem are so descriptive of loss and the life still left behind - well chosen indeed The weeping of the guitar begins. Useless to silence it. Impossible to silence it. LarryUK
I still find it hard to believe. We won't see him again. I didn't know he had kids. Shame.
