drathbun
I just added these Bob Colosi bone and abalone pins to the Songwriter. A guitar this sweet cannot go out in public only wearing plastic! OMG! No!

Gilliangirl
I just got some new bone bridge pins from Bob Colosi (thank you Terry) and I have EVIDENCE that they do in fact make a difference in sound. Michael, Colosi's website is here.... www.guitarsaddles.com Those pins are beautiful, Drathbun!

Sounds like something new to try as an "experiment" at the next Homecoming. Did I really say that?

Your silence on the pins made me think they were the wrong size and you were just too nice to mention it. Glad they worked!!!
Gilliangirl
Thank God! Your silence on the pins made me think they were the wrong size and you were just too nice to mention it. Glad they worked!!! Really!? I love the pins! I even recorded two videos, a before and after of the old pins and new pins. Audible difference to the positive. But my evidence is that I have an IMT-500 tuner that NEVER records the low E and A strings. Doesn't matter what I do, that darn thing does not record those strings. EVER. But now that I've got the Colosi pins on, it works every time. That, to me, is evidence of an audible difference in sound. I had to do some serious sanding to get them to fit but they're perfect now. Also, that jam is the best!
