Dennis G
Early reports on his stroke weren't very positive, so this really doesn't come as a surprise to me, but it's sad nonetheless. RIP Clarence!
recsec
Amen to all the above. The "Big Man" was the E-Street Band Soul.
BT Bob
Desperately sad news. A truly great "band" man (if you know what I mean).
cookieman15061
It really saddens me. It's so hard to lose family and the E Street Band were family. They were together for a lot of years and live they put on one hell of a show. Whether you're a fan of Springsteens or not you had to admire the 3 hour plus they gave there fans every night. I'm feelin older today.........

milod
This may sound terrible to younger folk, but I don't feel sad at all. The guy played well and played well up into incipient "old age." Then he went, most probably with little pain. What's so sad about that? But then, my perspective is from one only a few years younger. m
Searcy
I hear ya on that. I don't think it's sad for him but it's sad for us that are left behind when ever a music maker leaves us.
Daryl M
The man cut a wide musical path and left quite a legacy. Thanks for the music, CC.
BigKahune
. Sad news indeed. The news of his stroke was tragic. But when I heard the band members were summoned, I knew it was more than just serious. RIP Clarence.
