Music, in its physical essence, is nothing but a pattern of sounds and silence organized in time. As such, it holds no power except for that which you assign to it. The idea of one genre being better than another is based on your assignment of arbitrary values to abstract relations between pitch and timing. To push your opinion on musical taste is inherently ridiculous: music is reasonless, but its beauty lies in that ability to transcend rationality. That is all. Unfortunately I lost interest around the time that album, Paradise Lost, came out. I haven't listened to them in years. My favorite album of theirs, back then, was Twilight in Olympus.
