Twiz
So, since I got my Telecaster, I've been trying to check out more Tele players. Another guitar playing friend of mine told me to check out Danny Gatton. I'm sure I'm one of the last guitar players on earth to hear of him, but holy smoke. That guy could play. I see cats like this, and I realize I need to practice...a lot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MS5XH84mmI4
Dennis G
Danny Gatton was pure genius. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to think so. Check this out and you tell me how you do this???

Rocky4
This is some of the most amazing guitar playing I have ever seen in my life. An encyclopedic knowledge of chords and making full use of the tonal characteristics of the Tele http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyjtW-rvWoQ&list=FLkcgTKzAP53zRc7X3jAQ_cA&index=47&feature=plpp_video
WahKeen
If you wanna hear a great tele Cajun blues man, Tab Benoit is the man! Been around a while. Has played Vegas and everywhere. He does the theme tune for "Sons Of Guns." Be patient with this one (long intro, but it's worth hearing his glorious tele tone). Here's a live cut

Morkolo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJgfhfW3hyw&feature=related Danny Gatton's the master of hybrid chickin picking, I thought I had rolls pretty close to down until I saw this video. He's one of if not the best player to ever pick up a Telecaster.

bonzoboy
The first time I heard a Danny Gatton recording I thought for sure that the tape had been speeded up because "nobody could play that fast" then I saw a live performance of his and saw him actually doing it and was just incredulous-the guy was from another planet,it was just beyond belief how someone could be that fast.
