Riffster
Any Accept fans here? Their latest effort is pretty solid, a great follow up to Blood of the Nations. The sound and production of the record is great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YXcC97V3qA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ak8YT-IOTYU

surfpup
I heard the Metal SHow guys raving about this (and the previous one too) but I gotta admit I have not heard it.
Searcy
I Like it. Udo is starting to sound a little more like Graham Bonnett these days but that's not a bad thing.
surfpup
I Like it. Udo is starting to sound a little more like Graham Bonnett these days but that's not a bad thing. Perhaps because it's not Udo, but Mark Tornillo.
Searcy
Oooooohhhhhh... so it's not the same old Accept after all.

Riffster
Yea, the core of the band (and the songwriting) is there and Tornillo's voice is quite fitting. Both releases Blood of the Nations and Stalingrad are great albums, they sound really good, frankly the youtube compression takes away from the guitar sound. Wolf Hoffman sounds as good as ever. If they ever come to Nashville I'll be going to see them. P.S. the dates that surfpup posted are based on when the band went on hiatus, that's why you see the gaps in dates. manse
Saw them in November 1981 in Cardiff, supporting Judas Priest - hell of a gig.... must give this a listen and see what has changed in 31 years...... hopefully not too much....
BIGBENDS
I admit that I like it well enough to enjoy it when I hear it, but I wouldn't buy it. I prefer Saxon more when it comes to the style of music. The guitarists in Accept are sounding better than ever and vocalist fits in nicely. He had me wondering if that was Udo myself, Searcy! You're right Riffster, Sound and production are great on this album. If I hear more and like it, who knows. I could change my mind about buying it. saturn
Both those songs are really good. I can't remember the last "metal" album I purchased, but this might be the next.
