j45nick
Well, THAT's different...... Thinking of the guitars I could buy with $60K...... I don't think this one would make the list.
62burst
Definitely one too many zeros on that starting bid. Just illustrates the difference between what it's worth to the family vs the Market. An interesting story, nonetheless. Maybe an aging 'boomer/Kingston Trio fan would love to have it. David Guard My vote would be for those colored adhesive guitar instructional stickers to stay on it forever.
E-minor7
Yeeeaarhhhheeeeeehhhh,, , , not sure. But I'd like to have it on the wall of my summer-cottage and once in a while take it down and play She's a Rainbow. Maybe fortunately I don't have a summer-cottage. The price would go through the roof of such a groovy little place. . . .
ParlourMan
I like the guitar minus the crazy fretboard markers. I like the old bridge tailpiece look, unusual and a thoroughly giggable aesthetic to it. What I wouldn't do is pay 60k for it no matter who'd owned it in the past. onewilyfool
Dave used to play this guitar at the meditation center I went to. He was VERY good at it. I would drum for the chants, and he would play guitar......sorry that he is gone, guitar sounded great!!!
zombywoof
Not even one little drop of drool into the bucket on this one. When it comes to 12 strings, especially jumbos, there is Guild and then there is everything else.
