Class 5 Marshalls suck in my opinion, because the distortion works with the volume knob.

If you want more distortion you have to turn up the volume

I bet their good for blues or country though.

If you want to play harder stuff though, it would have to be really loud.

...or you could use a basic attenuator and crank the volume, yet still play at bedroom volumes.

On my list of projects but I have to finish the SG first.

 

In that Bitmo demo, he refers to using the "headphone trick". Can you run a cab off the headphone jack without damaging the amp or the speaker(s)? Might be a good way to get decent attenuation (non-adjustable) to a low level. The Marshall Class 5 extension cabinet might make a good box for that use if so. Thoughts?

lmfao, I guess all the guys using JTMs and plexis for the last 50 years have just been doing it wrong.
