Enmitygauged
Im not usually a fan of the sg body. but I must admit in alpine white and dual P90's it will compliment my collection. so yep i pick her up next friday, I have the alpine white LP JR EXCLUSIVE special which is almost a twin for this bad boy. http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/SG/Gibson-USA/50th-Anniversary-Pete-Townshend-SG.aspx
Windmills Optional
Congratulations! I've had my Townshend SG for about a year and love it. The P-90s sound great and it plays really well.
Versatile
Yes indeed SG's and LP Juniors are worthy occupants of a well balanced collection Not forgetting a selection of Strats and Teles  V
Riffster
I love that SG, I really like the neck profile on it. I wish my SG 24 50th anniversary had that profile instead of the weird thick-to-thin strange taper.

CowboyBillyBob1
My parents bought me this guitar new in 1969 for $180 USD In my stupid youth I replaced the pups with Gibson buckers and then sold it to buy a 1971 used LP Custom for $350 USD. Got rid of that but I do regret not having that SG today. Never sell your gear!!
RaysEpiphone
Pete has used so many guitars over the years, I remember the wine red one from the Woodstock years but not this one.

surfpup
I nearly bought the PT - spent a couple hours playing it and the Classic w P/90s that I ultimately bought instead. Having the tune-o-matic bridge was the deciding factor for me, but the Townsend was sweet! Enjoy it!
