CoreyT
Cool, another review on it. That is the same one I picked up last Tuesday. Actually it is a copy of the very first guitar Paul Reed Smith built years ago.
kaleb
The five-way switches they've been using are aces! My buddy's 91' CE-24 (with a 94' neck!) has the rotary switch and it's a pain in the neck. No wonder Alex Lifeson (CE-24 user for many years) has toggles in his! rocketman
Yeah if it's good enough for Lifeson you know it's a great guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnYddeEMzqA&feature=relmfu
kaleb
Yeah if it's good enough for Lifeson you know it's a great guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnYddeEMzqA&feature=relmfu His (as in my friend) 91' is just like that just in tobacco sunburst and with the rotary switch. Stock pickups. The original neck on it was a very rare all maple (including the headstock. No black veneer!), with abalone dots and the block letter PRS logo rather than the script logo. The 94' neck that replaced the original is a standard CE-24 rosewood fingerboard neck. Although the original probably has more mojo, the new one made the guitar really come to life.
