  1. I still to this day have to clue what half of the stuff Robert Plant is saying when he sings.
  2. I served in the military so I'm sure JVC considers me a war monger. I was even in one, didn't want to be, but I took an oath to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. I got to go to Thailand twice because of it. Best and most funnest place on Earth.
  3. He doesn't have the sense of humor bone. Its connected to the funny bone. That is Yoko in the bag. That is not a joke, but her singing was. I don't have an issue with Yoko and know she did not break up The Beatles, they did that on their own, but if you think she makes music...well you got some strange taste.
  4. Yoko sang in the rarely used key of strangled cat. If you need proof try and I mean try to get through all of side 2 of Live Peace In Toronto. You'll be glad you didn't.
  5. Not sure how many were sold or made. If you tried those (which are your best bet) and no luck your just gonna have to keep looking and wait till one is available. I just looked online and came up with squat. You might want to ask the guys in the acoustic section.
  6. Yep. That is muy loco. I guess they had to grow the trees and cure the wood.
  7. I think its a Chet Atkins signature model. Yeah screw the Mac without LB. He is/was the most talented guy in the group. When you need 2 guys to replace one...that says something.
  8. SG's are killer. Had no idea there was that much going on underneath the cover. I've owned 4 SG's.
  9. I think the Spaniards would not approve how how Lindsey does it. I was in the 2nd row when I saw him in NC. He's on a nylon string guitar (it's even a Gibson), making it his Be-I-Itch.
  10. John and Yoko sat in a bed. But not much changed. I preferred Yoko when she was in the bag.
  11. He was what The Beatles need, a backbeat. Neil had every possible percussive thing in his kit and then one more. Saw them 8 times. Jammed A Farewell To Kings yesterday. That I'm not tired of...
  12. Saw him open for The Stones in SF in '81. Lonesome George was great, The Stones were not. He came last year to where my daughter went to college, which is about 15 mins from my house. I got off late and went up the the ticket counter to buy a ticket and he had been on for an hour, so I said no to full price to see maybe a half an hour of a show. The sax player doesn't have enough sax's in is arms. My cousin lived in Clifton and use to go there all the time. I was born in that city.
  13. He's way better than me. Hell a kid who has only been playing for a week is better than me. Love the drum sound they got on Come Together.
  14. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/30/us/politics/john-lewis-funeral-barack-obama.html And yeah I'm sure the orange guy wasn't invited.
  15. Move on back two squares. I've heard the Give Peace A Chance in that song for decades. Love Yes. Till Drama.
  16. I dig Presence, it just could have been a lot better. And Plant had and accident and was singing in a wheelchair.
  17. At about :37 on Speak To Me someone says, right after the clock starts ticking "I've been mad for fuking years, absolutely years. I've been over the edge for yonks, been working with bands so long. I think 'Crikey"
  18. PG is the Zep album. I think the problem with Presence is Jimmy thought it would be a great idea to start doing smack.
  19. Wasn't the engineer Alan Parsons who started his own Project?
  20. Why they pussed out is beyond me. Presence has some great stuff and some stuff that should have been left off. It's the only Zep album with no keys on it. The song 10 Ribs & All / Carrot Pod Pod (Pod) from the extra disc from when Jimmy remastered everything a few years back is really cool. I would rather have that on the album.
  21. Why do people always want guitars to be locked in a cage match?
  22. I know I have it and Goodnight Vienna on Apple on vinyl. Yeah, Danko , Hudson, and Robertson were on it. I think they are all on the same song.
  23. Only 18, must be rough? I'm at 5 with big holes in them and one electric bass and one uke.
