Usually I do, but since he was inquiring about buying one I stated an observation about the pyramid thing on the ones I played vs the ones I own. But thanks for calling me out.

Here is some motivation for you. Its a Standard and not a MD, but it gets the job done. It's a 2013.

Just found 2 Flex 75's I had in my stash of picks. They have great grip. If I dug them I would be using them but I'm not and I don't. I think Jimmy Page used them and many others.

Haven't been to MI in ages. The Henry Ford Museum is on point.

Just leave it alone. Its a right of passage. Chances are it will not be the only ones you ever get on that or any guitar you own. The first one hurts the most. Then its road worn.

It probably is the technical term, but to me it looks like a small pyramid. 28's and 40 series have them. The 35 I had did not. A 000-18 is nice too. I've played a ton of 000-15's and for the price they sound fantastic. What about an M-36? I played a few of those and they are like smaller D-35's.

I have a Standard 000-28, and love it. Such fun to play. For Martin's they are short scale, but still just a hair longer than Gibson's scale on most of their stuff. 24.9 vs 24.75. I played a Eric Clapton one and it was next level. I played a D-28 Modern Dlx. It was super nice. The pyramid on the back of the headstock was not has tall, if I remember correctly. What is titanium on it? Are you gonna buy without trying it?

The Kinks are one of the UK's forgotten great bands. They have so many great albums. The Lemonheads. Interesting Dave. I remember them. It's A Shame About Ray was an decent album. For me Animals was their peak.

I think it is meant to be funny as in he has a H'Bird and those real birds look for nectar. I only have CFM tone. Wasn't Nektar a Prog Band? I like Blue Chip picks and V-picks. From .8 to 1mm.

Some of the pics looked off. But if you had him open the control cavity and it has Gibson pots and under the TRC it looked good.

Nice. My buddy has one of those new limited edition Princeton Amps. It's nice. I had a 2x12 DeVille and Hot Rod Dlx. Both loud as fuk. Could not turn either one up past 3. After 4 it was Motorhead.

Zappa, Capt Beefheart, King Crimson, any Prog band, even the Fab 4 did strange stuff and tons of others.

Gilmour comes in 2 flavors for me. One is jaw dropping and the other is I couldn't care less. His work with Floyd up to The Wall is stellar. His first solo alum was really good. The Final Cut he barley played on it and I consider that the first Rog solo album even though Floyd's name is on the cover. David Gilmour's PF which what the last 2 Floyd albums should be titled, are way over produced David Gilmour solo albums with a guys or two from Floyd hanging on for the ride. About Face has a moment or 2 and On An Island does too. His last solo album was poo. This song is just boring. Come on Dave focus. Selling off his guitars must have melted his brain.

I wouldn't buy it. Don't buy the ticket and get on the ride. Its not safe.

Only one guitar is a J-45 the other a J-185 with a cutaway (obviously) can't tell is there is electronics in it. The label is the only red flag. Maybe the label guy came back from lunch to stoned and though he was on the J-45 line. There is also the number 6230 written in the cutaway one. That could be someone's doing. Gibson would not let that out like that. Have a pro look at it.
