  1. You just have to split the difference and settle. I owned 4 or 5 Teles. 2 with the tree saddles.
  2. Blackmore didn't need that pesky middle pup.
  3. Yep and Rush made YYZed not YYZ. You still listening to Night Vale or was one enough. Carlos has perfect hair and Big Rico's has the best pizza in town. It's The only pizza place in town but it's still the best.
  4. It's called a discussion. I don't think guitars should come blue but they do. It's called personal choice.
  5. I'd say go try everything you think you may want. It may be hard to do depending on where you live. In my whole entire life I have only been in one store that had a SJ-200, and one store that had a Dove. J-45's are usually in every GC and most times they have a H'bird as well.
  6. I guess when you start your own company and make guitars you can put as many or as few pups on your guitars.
  7. I know Ringo is a great drummer, as a singer, well Paul made him look silly. As huge a Beatles fan as I am, I would rather he not have sung. Yellow Sub, and Octopus are all he should have ever done. The other times is just a time when they wasted a track for what could have been a better song. They always threw him the sub-par stuff to sing. Even George's early songs I could do without. Every time I mention The Beatles you post about Ringo. I've been listening to them since I was 10 or 11 and I'm now 53. If Ringo wouldn't have cut it he would not have been in the group. You trying to start s-hit again?
  8. I though Frampton had a Gibson LP Custom with 3 pups?
  9. George played a J-200. John also had that J-160E.
  10. That sounds fun. I set up surround sound in the bedroom. Within You Without You in 5.1 just started. Later I'm gonna play the White Album in 5.1 then Abbey Road.
  11. I thought you were English. Don't you guys usually put a "U" in words were us rebels that broke away from the colony omit it?
  12. Are you being serious? The one with the weed smoking bear, David Crosby, The Louvin Bros, and the other cartoon ones make me scratch my head and make me want to go up to Nazareth and pop CFM IV in the nose. Not to mention they are crazy stupid expensive.
  13. I found this. https://www.begnismusic.com/chitarre-elettriche/vintage-v1003-bb-reissued-les-paul-3-pickup-boulevard-black-1591.html
  14. I absolutely agree. Martin has no business doing a Shade Top. I have no idea why they let what looks like their apprentices spray paint the tops of Martins, but when they do they are fugly. One with a painted top from CFM will never come through my door, unless its free.
  15. That sucks. The guy who bought it, from the thief, I'm sure did not know it was hot. It may have been sold more that once since then.
  16. Night Vale is great. It comes out twice a month and there are I think 170, twenty minute podcasts now. I'm gonna listen to #5 today. Don't go to the dog park. There are a few books out now. I think after I read the Scarfolk books I'll check out the Night Vale books.
  17. I was in the Coast Guard, isn't there a CG Air Station there. I had to work at the base in Detroit a few times and my uncle lived outside Dearborne and I know this is a shocker he worked for Ford, in the export division.
  18. It's wacked. So far I read the intro. Every propaganda poster in the book says that. There is a website by the author. It's filled with those crazy posters.
  19. I just stared listening to the podcast Welcome To Nightvale. It started in 2012. I have only listed to the first 3. Each one is about 20 minuets long and its like a radio broadcast of the events of the day of the fake town of Nightvale. Its got weird stuff happening in it. Any fan of Alice In Wonderland or Laurie Anderson will dig it. I also stumbled across the book Discovering Scarfolk by English author Richard Littler. Scarfolk is a fake town in North West England that did not progress beyond 1979. No one is allowed to leave the town and bizarre stuff goes on. I got the book today and I am going to start reading it today. The book is filled with strange propaganda posters.
  20. I'm not, but do I cry myself to sleep most nights knowing I own a D-41.
  21. Never played a 000-15 that I think didn't sounded great. I have a D-15M. It's my go anywhere guitar. My 000-28 is my higher end beater. I use it for all my alternate tunings. My 41 gets babied. My 18 is the new kid on the block, but sounds better than my first one. I had a maple Guild. That is the only thing I don't have right now is a maple guitar.
  22. You do know we have a crisis going on in not just America but the world right?
  23. They are total POS. What does CFM know about making a guitar anyway? Wait, they invented the Dreadnought. No manufacturer's use that design, except almost if not all of them. H'bird and Dove wouldn't happen to be Dreads would they? The one thing I will say is Martin has no business painting the tops on their guitars. I think they look awful. Gibson kills them in that department.
  24. Steve if you play your HD-28 you wont need a cable. I used Pig Hog cables when I plugged in. I gave must away my buddy. The ones I got had that slippery cotton jacket over the top. One end is a 90 and one is straight. I saved one cause I have a Jazz Bass and a Acoustic B100 amp.
