I've been using this Rival Thermoperk because my auto-drip coffee maker died. It was brand new in the box, never been used from my folk's basement, so gave it a try. I must say it makes really good coffee. I prefer ground coffee to whole bean, there doesn't seem to be enough of a difference in taste to warrant the extra step of grinding it myself. Plus it seemed like I had to use a lot more coffee in the pot when grinding myself.

I did a banjo kit as a lark a few years ago. It was a plywood "electric" banjo kit with a bridge single coil. I tired of the DGBD tuning so just did DGBE with the fifth at A. It was fun building it and actually plays quite nicely. Some pics;

I care........ signature models devalue an instrument in my eye. Especially if it's some YouTube sensation twit like Bonamassa (apologies to any fans of his). I just don't understand the signature model allure.

There's lots of used 335's out there, you could get the real thing and not break the bank. Plus you give an older guitar a 2nd lease on life. And driving an hour to try out a guitar doesn't seem to be a tremendous chore if you wanted to try the Epi. Make a day of it, maybe it'll make your decision easier.

The three and three headstock looks odd on both this and the Silver Sky. Godin makes one called the Radium and it's pretty cool with an H-S-H layout but again, the three and three headstock doesn't look right.
