Listening to the video leads me to believe he or a close builder got a cease to build order. There are alot of things Gibson has done over the years that dont make sense. But Im not in there office laying out the rules. Nor do I care . Me like you ,all buy what we like. Whether its new or used.

It does not matter. Alot of makers out there, alot of different tastes in guitars. It makes no difference.

Good to know. I dont own either one myself. So these little changes of the details of the body change the model name. I owned a CL 30 back when they came out. It was a great sounding, nice playing guitar.

John Walker in the Gibson custom shop in 94 did a SJ200 for me with the old growth Adirondack Red Spruce. Signed under the top with the materials used.

I think if there using seasoned Red Adirondack Spruce. It may not require a speedy aging process.

Well the sad part is. All the main makers are doing that. And all these Main makers have just flooded the market with what theyve built and moved on already . There are alot of Newer used guitars out there being sold. Im seeing deception as well on new Epiphone Frampton model acoustics. A US Label only. Made over seas sticker thats totally removable on the back of the headstock.

Have your finger nails clipped the edge of the board from slipping off the frets? even your hands may carry a acidic sweat. That will do it as well. also. If the guitars out of the case or even in for that matter. Expansion and contraction of the fret can move the clear. Ive seen most of these situations before. Im just asking. 🙂

is there a rubber gasket around that Humid tube end?
