  1. I went to an Urgent Care with an injury a few years back.. They said, what kind of Insurance do you have.. I said, United Healthcare.. They said they didn’t accept United Healthcare & referred to another Urgent Care 10 miles from there…. Thank God it wasn’t a life or death situation…
  2. I own Guitars with all 3 different kinds of Fretboards.. The Maple feels slicker & faster to me… But, I like all 3.. I think Ebony will have a longer life than the other 2.. The rest of the Guitar might have withered to nothing but the Ebony will still be good. LOL!
  3. I love these kinds of back stories… Very cool Amp! I have an older Fender Twin that never leaves the Studio anymore.. Just too much! I usually use a 65 PRRI or a Vox AC15 with Alnico Blue for playing out..
  4. I liked “Danny’s Song” by Kenny Loggins.. It reminds me of my wife & I when we were starting out & having our first child back in our sort of Hippy days.. I haven’t heard it for years but it was on Sirius a while back & decided to learn It. I have a difficult time on the last verse getting a little choked up.. LOL.. But, I think it makes it better because it’s real..
  5. I like Maple, Rosewood & Ebony.. They’re all great! I do use lemon oil occasionally on Rosewood & Ebony fretboards as the dry Desert climate does dry them out.. Every couple years or so.. I also adjust, tighten & occasionally add a drop of oil to the Tuners. I do detail my Guitars & do try to keep them beautiful.. I’m not a fan of the Relic look..
  6. That’s a cool Amp & an interesting choice for an Acoustic Guitar but it works! Your little buddies are enjoying it too!
  7. Just an FYI, Not all Dr’s, Specialists, Hospitals, Urgent Care & ER’s accept all Supplemental Insurance Plans.. Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield are the Big Boys in most cases..
  8. Then the next question becomes who accepts your Insurance?
  9. Different States have different Premiums or Rates. Which is why we can’t Shop & compare State to State.. Calif & NY are the most costly.. All Insurance costs are not equal, which is BS, depending on where you live..
  10. I think it’s great to have Choice! We don’t have to agree but we can all still be civil… While the Hole might not be everyone’s cup of Tea it may be a great sounding Guitar.. Ultimately that’s what is important.. I notice on Forums that some Guys knock & don’t buy Guitars because they don’t like a color. Seriously? What if it’s the best sounding & playing Guitar you’ve found in the Model you’re looking for? Color isn’t the main thing! It’s the Sound, Playability & Quality…
  11. Everything looks cool except the unnecessary hole..
  12. I’ve played a handful of cheap Guitars that Sound good.. I’ve played a handful of expensive Guitars that didn’t sound good. The majority though are cheap Guitars that don’t sound good.. Why? Inferior quality content.. Most high end Guitars sound pretty darn good.. Why? Superior quality content.. If the OP really wants good Sound & he’s set on modding he needs high quality Pickups like Lollar, Duncan or Fralin.. They’re not cheap.. Roughly $3-$400 a Set.. Then the cost of installing.. Another $150.00 or so.. Is it really worth it? Not IMO.. It would be a total waste of time to buy & pay for install of cheap Pickups.. He already has them! Sell the Guitar & buy a better Guitar.. Buy a Used entry level Gibson & it will have high quality Components & USA P90’s or USA Humbuckers.. It doesn’t get any better than that!
  13. I tried out Elixers & other expensive Strings & ended up going back to D Addarrios’s (did I spell that right?).. They work, sound & play great IMO.. They are inexpensive too.. That’s what come on my Gibson’s & Epiphone’s.. What’s not to like.. Why is it guys like Brian Setzer tell their Guitar Techs not to change their Strings?
  14. I agree the thought of selling this one & finding a better Guitar in the Used Market.. It just makes more sense than sinking good money into an entry level Guitar that you’ll never recoup….
  15. Wait til you’ve owned one for 50 years.. I’ve seen plenty of older non Truss Rod high quality Guitars that needed Neck adjustments.. No more for me.. More power to those who want one.. Another Nit I have is the Truss Rod Adjustment at the Body.. You have to remove the Neck to adjust by trial & error.. I won’t buy another Guitar like that either.. Again, more power to those who want them…
  16. I would have no interest in a Guitar without a Truss Rod to adjust Necks.. At some point every Guitar needs some Neck adjustment..
  17. I’ve used Chorus & it’s pretty cool & I agree with what you’re saying but the Keeley 30ms Double Tracker takes it to a whole new level.. Everyone can hear it from anywhere in the Room… That said, it became a lot of hassle hauling 2 Amps.. I primarily use it for Recording in my Studio…
  18. I haven’t used that one but I do have a Keeley 30ms Double Tracker that I play Stereo thru 2 Amps. I usually play a Fender 65 DRRI & a Vox AC15 with a UK Celestion Alnico Blue… It is a really amazing Pedal!
  19. Either way they’re still Rat Burgers! Man I loved them! I can’t eat them anymore. They’re not the same…
  20. I remember going to a Girls house & listening to “Teen Beat” for the very first time..
  21. Guess I’m showing my age! It was when Girls wore Poodle Skirts! The Record I remember playing the most was, “What’d I Say” by Ray Charles.. On one Side was Part 1 & on the other Side was Part 2… Ray Rocked his A$$ off on both Sides! After we got done listening to Records we’d ride our Bikes over to Dairy Queen & get Ice Cream cones… LOL!
  22. Playing 45’s on a Record Player… The Top 40 came out every Week & my brother & I would to the Record Shop.. We’d take the 2-3 new Records from Top 10 that We didn’t already have into a Record Booth & played them so We could choose the one we were buying & taking home to wear the Grooves out of….
  23. Getting on your Bike in the morning & hanging out with your friends til it got dark… Using imagination to come up with all kinds of dumb stuff to do!
  24. I hated to see them close.. I am disappointed I couldn’t get an ES Les Paul Goldtop with P90’s & Bigsby… I think with one of those & my Memphis Blacktop ES Les Paul with MHS Humbucker Pickups & Bigsby would cover almost all the Gibson Epiphone Sounds I’d need.. Except for my Firebird with Mini HB’s..
